(Polyethylene terephthalate) is a polymer resin that is part of the polyester family. Polyester resins offer heat resitence and heat ageing resistance as well as durability. Polyesters also offer low moisture absorption and have good flow properties making them well suited for injection moulding and extrusion processes.
Polystyrene is one of the most commonly used plastics. It is a transparent to coloured thermoplastic which can be rigid with good physical and electrical insulating properties and is quite often used in injection blow moulding and thermal forming products.
